The M-KUBOS\/PYNQ cluster has been&nbsp; developed as an energy efficient computing server for MEC which treats various tasks including time-critical jobs at 5G base stations. M-KUBOS boards each of which provides the largest model of Zynq UltraScale+ are connected with high speed serial GTH links and STDM (Static Time Division Multiplexing) switches. PYNQ(Python productivity for Zynq), an open-source software platform by Xilinx was introduced so that the multi-Zynq system can be used as a multi-tenant server. The programming of the PYNQ cluster can be done<br>by extension of a single PYNQ system, and RESTful APIs are introduced for runtime management of multiple Zynq boards from a remote server. The design examples and evaluation results demonstrate that the M-KUBOS\/PYNQ cluster achieved 1.0-17.2<br>times performance and 1.75-85.8 times performance per watts compared to the recent Ryzen-7 server.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biography:<\/strong>  Hideharu Amano received Ph.D degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Keio University, Japan in 1986.\u3000He is currently a professor in the Department of Information and Computer Science, Keio University.\u3000His research interests include the area of parallel architectures and reconfigurable systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2>Keynote Speaker 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mr. Thanaporn Sangpaithoon (General Manager Design Gateway Co., Ltd.)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sigemb.jp\/APRIS\/2021\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-338\" width=\"260\" height=\"341\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"color:#414040\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Title:<\/span> Intellectual property (IP) development and licensing for the<\/strong> <strong>worldwide market<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color:#414040\" class=\"has-inline-color\"><strong>Abstract:<\/strong> <\/span> Design Gateway Co., Ltd is a Thai Japanese Joint-Venture company, founded in 2001. The company has more than 15 years of experience in Intellectual property (IP) development and licensing for the worldwide market. Now, Design Gateway is the leading provider of IP cores for high-performance, area-optimized, and power-efficient data storage, networking, and FPGA-accelerated computing solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Speaker would like to share some of the challenges and achievements to develop Intellectual property, Engineering teams, and the opportunities to commercialize the IP research projects to the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Biography:<\/strong>  Thanaporn Sangpaithoon has been working at Design Gateway Co., Ltd. since 2001. He has been involved in FPGA design projects and successfully developed Serial ATA IP Core with 1.5Gbps transceiver Xilinx Virtex-4 in 2006.
