         * Deadline is extended to May 10, 2007 *

SCOPE AND TOPICS
We cordially invite you to IEEE CIT2007, the IEEE 7th International
Conference on Computer and Information Technology, to be held in a
beautiful resort of Japan, from Oct. 16-19, 2007.
CIT has become a major platform for researchers and industry
practitioners from different fields of computer and information
technology. Each year, CIT attendees appreciate and benefit from
multidisciplinary exchanges in computer and information technology.
This year, CIT will be jointly with the official meeting of
 the International Society for Bioelectromagnetism
 (ICBEM 2007, http://www.u-aizu.ac.jp/conference/icbem07/) and
the International Workshop on Databases in Networked Information
 Systems (DNIS 2007, http://www.u-aizu.ac.jp/labs/sw-db/DNIS2007.html)
and the Eighth International Symposium on Spatial Media
 (ISSM'07-'08, http://www.u-aizu.ac.jp/~mcohen/welcome/ISSM/07-08/).
This highlights CIT2007 and gives a unique opportunity, through
keynotes and scientific sessions, for computer scientists
to exchange information technology in biomedicine.
The CIT2007 will be held in the most beautiful season in an area
famous for its beautiful nature, tradition of Japanese culture, and
history. We will make every effort to make your stay and participation
fruitful and pleasant, and look forward to meeting you in October 2007.
The technical program will include refereed paper presentations.
In a departure from past versions of the conference, the research
track will highlight foundational work that strives to push beyond
limits of existing computer technologies, including experimental
efforts, innovative systems, and investigations that identify
weaknesses in the existing IT services.
The CIT 2007 research track seeks original, unpublished research
papers reporting substantive new work in various aspects of computer
and information technologies. Research papers must properly cite
related work and clearly indicate their contributions to each field.
The technical program will consist of the following technical tracks.
Topics within each track will be elaborated on the homepage.

o Databases and Data Mining
o Internet and Web Applications
o High Performance Computing
o Networking and Mobile Computing
o Data Processing and Multimedia Systems
o Information Security
o Embedded Systems
o Software Engineering
o Ubiquitous and Sensor Network
o Service Oriented Computing and E-Technologies
o Information Technology in Biomedicine
o VLSI and Design Methodology
