CALL FOR PAPERS
(apology if you receive this announcement through multiple lists)

The 1st IEEE International Conference on Cyber-Physical Systems,
Networks, and Applications (CPSNA 2013)
In conjunction with RTCSA 2013
Taipei, Taiwan, August 19-20, 2013
http://www.cpsna.org/

TOPICS:
Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are next-generation embedded systems
featuring a tight integration of computational and physical elements.
Emerging applications of CPS include transportation, healthcare,
energy, manufacturing, entertainment, consumer electronics,
environmental monitoring, and aerospace, all of which will be
essential pieces of our social infrastructure. A grander vision of CPS
faces a core challenge of multidisciplinary research collaborations,
as their relevant technologies appear in diverse areas of science and
engineering. The objective of CPSNA is to explore innovative,
exciting, and fresh ideas for CPS. Contributions should emphasize on
the design, implementation, and evaluation of systems, networks, and
applications. The scope of CPSNA 2013 will give due consideration in
all areas of research that facilitate collaborations between CPS and
existing technologies. Topics of special interest include, but are not
limited to, the following:
-Embedded and real-time systems to support computation of CPS
-Sensor networks to support sensing and actuation of CPS
-Networked control systems to support complex behavior of CPS
-Dependable computing and verification methods to support safety of CPS
-Ubiquitous and pervasive computing to support user experience of CPS
-Cloud and distributed computing to support scalability of CPS
-Data-intensive computing and data mining to support big data of CPS
-Multicore and GPU programming to support high-performance of CPS
-Architecture, compiler, and OS to support platforms of CPS
-Experimental prototype systems of CPS
-Emerging applications of CPS
